Last updated: July 10, 2026
Artificial intelligence is reshaping every sector of the economy — and with that transformation comes profound responsibility. As a firm that advises organizations on AI risk, governance, and compliance, TAPSource holds itself to the same standards we recommend to our clients. This statement sets out our principles and operational commitments for the responsible use of AI.
Our Commitment to Responsible AI
TAPSource is committed to using AI tools and systems in ways that are transparent, accountable, and aligned with the interests of our clients and the public. We do not deploy AI in any context where it could cause harm, discriminate unlawfully, or undermine the trust our clients place in us. Every AI-assisted output produced by our firm is reviewed by qualified human professionals before delivery.
Human Oversight and Accountability
All AI-assisted work product at TAPSource is subject to meaningful human review. AI tools are used to augment — not replace — the judgment of our consultants, attorneys, and technical specialists. Final recommendations, assessments, and deliverables reflect the professional judgment of our team, not automated outputs. We maintain clear accountability for every engagement.
Transparency
We are transparent with our clients about when and how AI tools are used in the delivery of our services. Where AI-assisted analysis forms part of a deliverable, we disclose this clearly. We do not misrepresent AI-generated content as purely human-authored work, and we do not use AI to create false impressions about our capabilities or the nature of our advice.
Client Data Protection
We do not input confidential client information into third-party AI systems without explicit client consent and appropriate data processing agreements. Where AI tools are used in client engagements, we evaluate those tools for data security, privacy compliance, and confidentiality protections before deployment. Client data is never used to train external AI models.
Bias, Fairness, and Non-Discrimination
We are committed to identifying and mitigating bias in AI systems — both in the tools we use internally and in the AI systems we evaluate for clients. We apply a fairness lens to all AI assessments and flag risks of discriminatory outcomes in our recommendations. We do not use AI tools that we have reason to believe produce systematically biased or discriminatory outputs.
Regulatory Alignment
Our AI governance practices are informed by and aligned with applicable regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), Executive Order 14110 on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy AI, and emerging state-level AI legislation. We monitor regulatory developments continuously and update our practices accordingly.
Continuous Improvement
AI governance is not a static exercise. We review and update our internal AI policies at least annually, and in response to material changes in the regulatory landscape, the capabilities of AI systems, or the nature of our engagements. We invest in ongoing training for our team on responsible AI practices and emerging risks.
